Our story
With years of experience delivering technology solutions for major UK corporations — the NHS, Coventry Building Society, E.ON, Severn Trent — we've seen what works and what doesn't at scale.
Animo IT was set up to make that same expertise accessible to small businesses. Whether you need a smarter website, better ways of working, or help bringing an idea to life, we're here to make enterprise-level thinking work for you — locally, and without the corporate overhead.

We're also the team behind Clientflex — a client management platform we built from scratch for solo practitioners, now available to businesses across the UK and France.
The team
A small, experienced team — based across two countries, working across two languages.
Ian has spent 20+ years delivering technology change for some of the UK's largest organisations. From business analysis and product ownership to full-stack development — he's equally comfortable defining strategy at board level and writing the code that delivers it.
Recent roles include Enterprise Business Analyst at NHS Supply Chain, Business Readiness Manager at Coventry Building Society, and change delivery across E.ON and Severn Trent. He also built Flo4Paws — the specialist dog behaviour app that became the foundation for Clientflex.
Flo is a specialist dog behaviourist with a practice covering Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland. She works with nervous, reactive, and complex dogs using positive reinforcement and modern behavioural science.
As Director at Animo IT, Flo brings practitioner insight to the Clientflex product — she's the reason it actually works for real-world sole traders. Her experience as a client of her own software means every feature exists because it solves a genuine problem.
